Organic Solutions Milling Division

We take old wood, urban wood, barn wood and reclaim it into custom, one-of-a-kind works of carpentry. We get our wood from our sister company, Trees "R" Us, Inc. As they are hired by residences, commercial establishments, municipalities, forest preserves and parks and recreations departments to remove old, fallen our hazardous trees, we get the salvagable wood for custom projects. Some wood gets repurposed into mulch or firewood, but sometimes the wood is just to beautiful to put in the chipper and that's where our Milling Division steps in.

Custom Carpentry Projects from Reclaimed Urban Wood

We only use premium wood that we salvage from the trees already removed by Trees "R" Us, Inc. Sometimes it's ash, oak, pine, hackberry, or whatever they happen to be called on to remove. Whatever the wood is, you can be assured that is sturdy, quality and will last a lifetime. We create custom projects and can be commissioned to create whatever might be on your wishlist. Typical requests are for live edge tables, tv stands, cutting boards, custom kitchen countertops or kitchen islands, and even custom milled siding. Many of our customers are excited to tell us that our pieces not only add character to their home, but it's like having a piece of history right in their home.

Commission Us

We take custom orders nationwide. We work, mill and create everything in Northern Illinois and will ship anywhere in the United States. Local orders can be delivered upon request. Since we are affiliated with a professional tree service, for local orders we can even use wood from your residence or establishment if you need trees removed.
